WVCC Salem/Keizer: Sept 3rd First Friday Open Mic

Everyone’s favorite open mic is back for September! This month, it’s “Show Up, Sign Up, Go Up!”.  Meaning, just show up to the Willamette Valley Comedy Club at Keizer Homegrown Theatre at 7:30 pm when the doors open and to get your name on the list. The list will be posted right before the start of the show and tonight’s host, Jared Richard, will be kicking things off and then running through the comics! This evening’s closer/feature will be the incomparable Drew Wilson-McGrath!

Tickets at the door cost $5, or, if you register for tickets 24-hours in advance, they’re free! So plan ahead for our next open mic on Sept 17th, also here in Keizer.

Tickets cost $10 through Eventbrite or you can purchase tickets the day of the show at the door. The show is located at 405 NE 3RD STREET, SUITE 8, McMinnville, OR and is on the second floor. The Willamette Valley Comedy Club is an independent enterprise producing shows within the space. The show starts at 7:30 pm, with seating beginning at7 PM. Concessions consisting of water, chips, and candy will be available for purchase before and during the show.

Downtown Comedy w/ Andrew Sleighter (Conan, Dry Bar) & More in McMinnville on July 25!

The Zodiac Lounge in downtown McMinnville, Oregon will be hosting a super special showcase this Sunday for the Willamette Valley Comedy Club! Andrew Sleighter, Jaren George, Julia Corral, David Kildal, and Danelle Porter will be stopping by for some jokes with the folx of Mac at 8 PM, doors at 7. (Andrew Brunello FINAL 11 X 17 DCZL july 25thalso be mc’ing the night.) Andrew Sleighter is closing out the show and has been seen on Team Coco‘s Conan on TBS and has a Dry Bar Comedy special out!

 

The suggested ticket price is $10, but we’ll work with ya if that’s an obstacle to seeing the show. Julius ‘Juice’ Northington and Victoria Ward are working hard to make the lounge a great spot for live comedy and events, so come out and support them, live comedy, and a great new venue!
