Johnny Pemberton is a comedian and actor who plays Bo on NBC’s Superstore, but you might also know him from Neighbors 2, 21 Jump Street, You’re the Worst, Son of Zorn, and many more things.

Amy Miller is a Bay Area native who has gone on to be a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” Comics. She’s also been on Viceland, has a half-hour special on Epix and won Portland’s Funniest Comedian in Helium Comedy Club’s Contest and in the Willamette Week.

Tickets cost $20 through Eventbrite or $25 the day of the show at the door. The theater is located at 980 Chemawa Rd NE, Keizer, OR 97303. The Willamette Valley Comedy Club is an independent enterprise producing shows within the space shared with Keizer Homegrown Theatre. The show starts at 8 pm, with seating beginning at7:30 PM. Concessions consisting of water, chips, and candy will be available for purchase before and during the show.

Late Night Open Mic at The Willamette Valley Comedy Club on June 18th

Stand-Up Comedy is back at The Willamette Valley Comedy Club on June 18th in the form of another Late Night Open Mic. And this week we’re hosted by the very funny Owen Lyon-Smith!

If you’re interested in performing, please email info@pnwcomedy.com stating you’d like to perform on the 6/18 mic by no later than 9 am of that Friday. Fair warning, the earlier you send in your request the more likely you are to get one of the limited number of spots. The list will be posted on PNWcomedy.com/openmic and on PNW Comedy’s Facebook Page by 1 pm the day of the show.

If you’re interested in attending the Open Mic, Day-Of tickets cost just $5 at the door or you can register online ahead of time for Free General Admission seating. A Concession Booth consisting of water, candy, and popcorn will operate before and during the event for your convenience.

Please be advised that this event may have some content not suitable for everyone, so these shows are not recommended for those under 18. Masks are still required at these shows (unless you’re actively eating or drinking.)  No talking during the show or heckling the comics, period. Breaking any of these rules is grounds for immediate removal from the show.

PNW Comedy is in Salem/Keizer on May 28th & 29th w/ Marc Yaffee, Tyler Boeh, Shain Brenden, & More!

Next Friday and Saturday, May 28th and 29th, we’re kicking off PNW Comedy‘s new location for shows in Salem/Keizer with two events!! Friday night at 8 PM, Tyler Boeh (Dry Bar Comedy, Laughs TV) and Shain Brenden (NBC Sports Northwest, ASSVILLE Podcast) crack the seal on a great new spot for stand-up at 8 PM. Plus Seth Allen (ASSVILLE Podcast), hosted by NAME REDACTED.

 

And then! On Saturday the 29th, we have the very talented Marc Yaffee (Showtime, Dry Bar Comedy, PBS) headlining a spectacular show alongside the hilarious Sam Miller and Amanda Lynn Deal!! Hosted by Dash Thompson.
So come on out, RSVP below, support live comedy, and have a good time among new friends and old! Doors open and seating begins for these limited seating indoor shows at 7:30 PM each night. While some of us have the vaccine, masks are still required to be worn when appropriate at the location. Tickets are required to be purchased online prior to the night’s event. Since some content may not be suitable for everyone, these shows are restricted to those aged 18 and up.
