The Teacher Show at Moonlight Theater in McMinnville – April 1st, 2023

Laugh your socks off at The Teacher Show, live at The Moonlight Theater on April 1st! This hilarious comedy show features some of the funniest teachers in the game, bringing their unique perspectives and side-splitting humor to the stage.

Have you ever worked in, was a student at, or dropped off a child in front of a school? Then this show is for you! Come enjoy a great lineup of local comedians who also happen to be educators and share in a few of their funniest lessons and experiences from the head of the class. Please don’t be tardy.

The box office opens inside 3rd Street Pizza at the doors to the Moonlight Theater 8:30 PM. An Early Bird General Admission ticket costs $10 through Eventbrite (these sell out quickly) or they are just $15 per ticket (after Early Bird sells out) online or on the day of the show at the door. VIP – Reserved Seating tickets cost $20 (VIP- Reserved Seating is located on the aisles of the theater that have dedicated countertop seating near the middle and top of the venue) online through Eventbrite or is just $25 the day of the show at the door. (VIP Reserved Seating sells out quickly, so get those tickets ahead of time!)

The show is located at 433 NE 3rd Street, McMinnville, OR 97128 inside of 3rd Street Pizza Company’s Moonlight Theater. PNW Comedy and The Willamette Valley Comedy Club are independent enterprises producing shows within the space. The show starts shortly after 9 PM.

Geoff Tate (Comedy Central, Late Late Show, WTF Podcast) and Shain Brenden are coming to The Moonlight Theater in McMinnville, OR on Feb 25th!

***Note: Amy Miller (Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing) was scheduled to perform but due to the weather/her flight being canceled, she’s being rescheduled for a later show date.***

Featuring the incredible comic Geoff Tate! Maybe you listen to podcasts. In that case, you probably heard Geoff on WTF with Marc Maron or Your Mom’s House with Tom Segura and Christina P or maybe it was The Todd Glass Show or You Made It Weird or BertCast or The Doug Stanhope Podcast or Never Not Funny or, and this is most likely, any of his hundreds of appearances on Doug Loves Movies. Don’t listen to podcasts? Maybe you saw him on CBS’s The Late Late Show or from his appearances on Comedy Central. Is this ringing any bells?

In addition to Geoff, we’ll also be having the very funny Shain Brenden! Shain is the winner of Portland’s Funniest, his Don’t Tell reels are blowing up on Facebook/Instagram, and that’s all on top of his years as a commentator on the NBC Northwest Sports Reports for the Blazers!

Hosted by PNW Comedy regular Drew Wilson-MGrath. Opening the show and making her Moonlight Theater debut is Mandy Simonson!

The box office opens at 8:30 PM and seating will begin as soon as the theater is cleaned from the last showing. Tickets are $15 (Early Bird GA is SOLD OUT) to $30 (VIP-Reserved). A General Admission ticket costs $20 through Eventbrite or $25 the Day-Of at the door (There are also some $15 Early Bird tickets available!). VIP – Reserved Seating ticket costs $25 (reserved seating is located in the rows with tables in front of you) through Eventbrite or $30 the day of the show at the door.

Cory Michaelis comes to Salem/Keizer and McMinnville on Feb 3rd & 4th!

PNW Comedy is excited to bring Cory Michaelis to the Willamette Valley on Feb 3rd and 4th!

Friday, Feb 3rd, 2023 – Keizer Homegrown Theatre in Keizer, OR

After teaching high school for 12 years, Cory Michaelis “retired” to do comedy full-time because he wanted to try out both of the lowest-paying jobs in America.

Cory has a Dry Bar Comedy Special -“Bad Teacher” – that snagged over 75 million views. His debut album, “The Collage Dropout,” was released by 800 Lb. Gorilla Records and charted at #2 on iTunes & Billboard (because it was the only album released that week). Cory has been seen on the TV show “Laughs” for his stand-up comedy which aired on FOX. In addition to headlining comedy clubs all over the US and Canada, Cory has taken his act global, doing tours in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Pakistan.

Both nights feature a duo of opening comics coming from central Oregon- Katy Ipock and Carl Click. Katy Ipock is a force of raunchy aunt comedy and she currently hosts and produces stand-up shows out of Craft Brewery in Bend. Carl Click, whom some might remember from his years at KGW in Portland, cleverly combines stand-up and musical comedy for a memorably funny performance.

Plus Special Guest Grace Sophia! Hosted by Jordan Cerminara on Friday night in Keizer and by Jared Richard on Saturday night in McMinnville.
