Hey there, comedy fans! There’s another incredible show happening in Newberg this week at the La Joie Theater on Sunday, March 29th, 2026 and it’s featuring Susan Rice & Seth Allen!

Susan was just on Netflix’s Star Search, but she’s better known as the matron saint of Oregon comedy. Not only has she been featured on countless TV shows and networks, but she’s also a crowd favorite among regulars to clubs in the country. Also on the show is Yamhill-native Seth Allen! Allen has been featured on the Portland Trail Blazers’ televised aftergame report and at comedy clubs, festivals, and theaters around the PNW!
According to the ticket link this is a “Fundraiser, Hosted by Livability Oregon” and will feature the previously stated comedians. Doors open at 5:30 PM and showtime is at roughly 6 PM. “Lite bites” are said to be provided. And wine and beer are said to be available for purchase at a hosted bar. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or at the door the night of the event. Recommended for those aged 18 and up.

Both Rice and Allen are terrific comedians. Plus, this is being put on to support some great people and I hope you join me here on Sunday to cheer on all involved.
